The merger of the Gala Group and Coral
Eurobet in October 2005 created Europe's largest integrated
betting and gaming group and one of Britain's largest privately
owned companies.
The new Gala Coral Group has over 18,000
employees and generates over 400 million of EBITDA from
over 1,750 trading outlets serving over two million active
customers each year, which represents nearly 5% of the adult
population of Britain.
